This is the hoodie that gives back – spreading some positivity at the end of this unprecedented year and giving to charity. It is limited edition and only available to order until 17th December.
We wanted to do something that helps us to make a difference in our own way, and something that helps to document this collective experience. This year has been historic, it will shape our perspective, and our way of life for years to come. While there’s much we’ll all want to forget, there are new ways of thinking, new attitudes and new priorities that we are glad that this time has brought us.
Our Change Hoodie, is a call to dig deep and think about what this year has taught us, how have our opinions been reshaped by the societal forces that have emerged around sustainability, equality and resilience?
This hoodie has been designed to mark a year that will go down in history, a year that has changed as all. We have been particularly struck by the plight
of domestic violence victims for whom lockdown has significantly exacerbated their suffering. Any profits arising out of these hoodies will be donated to the Southall
Black Sisters (https://southallblacksisters.org.uk/), a not-for-profit, secular and inclusive organisation challenging all forms of gender-related violence against women.
This year they celebrate their 40th anniversary and their work remains as important now as it was when they started.
